Buttermilk Pancakes

Ingredients

  • 1½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tbsp Apple Sugar, plus more for syrup
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp baking soda
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1¼ cups buttermilk
  • 1 egg
  • 3 tbsp melted butter
  • ¼ cup water, for syrup

Instructions

    Whisk flour, 2 tbsp Apple Sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.

    In another bowl, whisk buttermilk, egg, and melted butter. Combine with dry ingredients.

    Cook ¼-cup scoops on a buttered griddle until bubbles form, then flip.

    Simmer ¼ cup Apple Sugar with water until glossy. Pour over the stack and serve.
